Descendants of Shem

1. This is the genealogy of Shem: Shem was one hundred years old, and begot Arphaxad two years after the flood. After he begot Arphaxad, Shem lived five hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

2. Arphaxad lived thirty-five years, and begot Salah. After he begot Salah, Arphaxad lived four hundred and three years, and begot sons and daughters.

3. Salah lived thirty years, and begot Eber. After he begot Eber, Salah lived four hundred and three years, and begot sons and daughters.

4. Eber lived thirty-four years, and begot Peleg. After he begot Peleg, Eber lived four hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.

5. Peleg lived thirty years, and begot Reu. After he begot Reu, Peleg lived two hundred and nine years, and begot sons and daughters.

6. Reu lived thirty-two years, and begot Serug. After he begot Serug, Reu lived two hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.

7. Serug lived thirty years, and begot Nahor. After he begot Nahor, Serug lived two hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

8. Nahor lived twenty-nine years, and begot Terah. After he begot Terah, Nahor lived one hundred and nineteen years, and begot sons and daughters.

Descendants Of Terah

This is the genealogy of Terah. Terah lived seventy years, and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Haran begot Lot. And Haran died before his father, Terah, in his native land, in Ur of the Chaldeans.

Then Abram and Nahor took wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran the father of Milcah and the father of Iscah.

But Sarai was barren; she had no child.

And Terah took his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram's wife, and they went out with them from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran and dwelt there. So the days of Terah were two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran.

It is the evil work into which a person put himself – Nahor caused his own problems.

Nahor destroyed his life, because he was not presenting himself before God. He did not serve and worship God as God wants. He believed in Satan and had various idols. He worshipped diverse gods. The confirmatory sign was that Lot believed and followed Abraham. But, Nahor did not follow Abraham to worship God, and he did not follow Abraham to the land of Canaan, the Promised Land, the land flowing with milk and honey. That was why and how Nahor went the way to destruction. He had various idols, which he worshipped. Nahor walked in bad ways, to the extent that he went on a very terrible journey. He died a very shameful death. Nahor burnt himself to death. That was why Nahor went on a journey, and did not reach his destination. H destroyed himself.

Do you congregation not know all these facts? The congregation do not know, because the records are not in the bible. Nobody told the congregation.

Modern paganism - Or, have you not known that many people swore to die in the way of destruction, instead of repenting from the evil ways of life?

Many people say such evil statements, like the Catholic members, who say, “I was born a catholic, and I will die a catholic.” Others say, “I was born an Anglican, and I will die an Anglican,” while some others say, “I was born a Pentecostal, and I will die a Pentecostal.” And they continue dying in catholic, as Anglicans, or Pentecostals, and all of them as pagans. They end up inside the hell fire, just as a bad foundation had been laid for them, without their knowing it. That is the origin and the place of their birth. That is what is written there? Yes.

Nahor swore to die for the idol, Ur, instead of dying a natural death, just as some people do dedicate themselves to idols or shrines.

That word, Ur, is not the name of a country. It is the name of an idol. And it was the idol that killed Nahor. The bible writers removed the name of the country, and replaced it with the name of the idol.

That is why I am asking you congregation questions upon questions, several questions. That is for you to know that you should verify whatever teaching given to you. Investigate. Conduct both academic and spiritual research. Do not just accept every teaching or doctrine given to you.

Learn to know the facts, by asking God questions, in your quiet time and meditation. It is because people do not ask questions, they do not investigate, that is why so many souls have been misled into the hell fire.

Beware! - Remember what Jesus said, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. That means that you should beware of the false teachings of religious leaders.

Deception - Have you seen how Satan put confusion, and put various things, lies and fabrications, in the bible to confuse and mislead humanity. It is wrong for people to believe whatever is presented to them in the name of God.

But, now that God Almighty and the Hosts of the Angels and Saints of heaven have come down, in DivineBase Ministry, to speak to humanity, people do not believe. The same Devil is making people to doubt and disbelieve the true teachings, even so without people knowing it.
